English captain Joe Root root hopes that the rest and rotation policy won't be continued for the series against India. The English selectors have picked the best available T20I squad for two successive series against India and Sri Lanka. But England did not have a full-strength Test Squad available during winter.

However, Joe Root is confident that all good Test players would play in the next 10 Tests including the Ashes. Root expressed his enthusiasm about the next cycle of the World Test Championship and his determination to qualify for the final. It is hard to watch the championship final on TV instead of playing in it. The next cycle would provide a chance for England to do better in the tournament. Thereby, Joe Root is hoping to start with the best English squad to play a good game.

According to him, England should put behind the rest and rotation policy in the modern era of cricket. If every player is fit then England would play with the best test team. He is looking forward to the Test matches.

England would play against two brilliant teams, India and Australia in the upcoming Test matches. It would give the English team an opportunity to play strong cricket and display their talent.

Joe Root would try to lead by example and have the best English Test Squad available for the games. He wants all his players to be at their peak form and play with a winning mentality.

Joe Root publicly expressed his frustration with the English management for a weakened Test side

The weakened English Test Squad recently lost an important Test match against New Zealand. Joe Root has been frustrated by it for a long time. His body language had clearly expressed his frustration with the mismanagement of the Test team. Moreover, a full-strength T20I Squad was selected to play against India and Sri Lanka. But the same attention was not given to the Test team.

The English management had not put proper attention to the issue of a weakened Test team. But Root's public display of frustration in an interview would force the management to better handle the issue.
