Mumbai Indians skipper and veteran opener, Rohit Sharma made a return to his batting with a match-defining half-century in the last match against Delhi Capitals. Both teams played this match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Rohit scored a crucial half-century and contributed 65 runs off 45 balls with six boundaries and four sixes to his name.

Other than this. he also stitched an important partnership of 71 runs with young wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan (31 runs) for the first wicket. Notably, Rohit also won the ‘Player of the Match award for his amazing knock in favor of Mumbai Indians.

Meanwhile, Rohit has currently fallen on the receiving end of some hilariously trolling reactions from cricket fans. It all started after the recent Instagram post uploaded by the 35-year-old from his official Instagram handle with a motivational quote; “Sometimes, you just have to wait for the smoke to clear,” read the caption of Rohit’s Instagram post.
