Fans trolled wicketkeeper batter, Rishabh Pant, as he was found copying the famous pose of leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. Chahal's pose became a meme after he was found sitting on the boundary line during a game in the 2019 World Cup. The leg-spinner was rested for the game as India had qualified for the semis. Almost three years down the line, Pant was trolled for copying the pose in the ongoing game India and West Indies.
The Delhi-born player opened the innings alongside skipper Rohit Sharma. However, he couldn't create any impact with the bat as he got out on 18. KL Rahul was expected to open the innings. However, Rahul batted in the middle-order. Meanwhile, fans had a lot of fun on Twitter while trolling Pant for the pose.

Meanwhile, this was not the first time Pant opened in a game. He had opened for India U-19 in 2016 alongside Ishan Kishan against Bangladesh. Pant was the ninth highest run-getter, with 267 runs in six games averaging 44.50 with one hundred and two fifties. His strike-rate was 104.29. Meanwhile, India could only manage 237 in their innings, setting a target of 238 for West Indies.
