Premier digital sports platform Fancode has announced DD Sports as the exclusive television partner for India’s upcoming tour of the West Indies. The motive behind the move is to increase viewership for the series all across the country.
The tour will begin on 22nd July with the three-match ODI series, followed by a five-match T20I series, starting from 29th July. The series will be the first away series of India to be hosted entirely on DD Sports in 15 years.
In April 2021, FanCode became the first-ever digital platform to sign a historic four-year deal with Cricket West Indies, which gave them exclusive broadcast rights for almost 150 international and 250 domestic cricket matches in the Caribbean until 2024.
FanCode has offered TV rights to DD Sports to make sure that the Television audience doesn’t miss out on the action between India and West Indies as the two teams collide for ODI and T20I series.
The matches will begin during India's prime-time, with ODIs starting at 7 pm and T20Is starting at 8 pm IST.
