So, he will also look to contribute with the bat in the World Cup. But, an unwanted incident occurred in Tamil Nadu where a man killed his friend for cursing these two players. Reportedly, both Rohit and Virat were that man’s favourite players.

According to Tamil media reports, a man named Dharmaraj killed his friend, named Vignesh because he insulted Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Police said that Dharmaraj, Prabhakaran, and Vignesh all are from the Poyuru village of Ariyalur district. They drank alcohol together on Wednesday morning. Then, Vignesh went to home for taking rest. In the evening, Dharmaraj and Prabhakaran went to Vignesh's house. There, they invited him to drink alcohol.
After that, all three of them drank alcohol together in the forest area next to the village. During that, Dharmaraj killed Vignesh with a machete and ran away. When the Police investigation occurred, Dharmaraj opened up about the real reason behind such an action. He said that they were talking about cricket. During that conversation, Vignesh abused his favourite cricketers, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. He could not near such insults as he killed Vignesh with a machete.
Speaking of fans, they have been always found on social media platforms comparing these two cricketing stars of India. Even, people have seen debates and verbal fighting over these players as fans have always shown immense love for Kohli and Rohit. But, killing a man, for this reason, will raise new concerns among others in the coming days.
