The third T20I between South Africa and India is currently underway at Holkar Cricket Stadium. Earlier, Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first. On a batting paradise in Indore, South Africa have put on an exhibition of fours and sixes.
Wicket-keeper batter, Quinton de Kock put on a masterclass performance with the bat as he smashed 68 runs in 43 balls, including 6 fours and 4 fours. Rilee Rossouw returned to form with a heart-warming ton and is currently unbeaten at the crease.
Meanwhile, an incident involving Deepak Chahar and Tristan Sttubs has gone viral. Coming back into the attack in the 15th over, Deepak Chahar took everyone by surprise as he tried to pull off a mankad run-out by knocking the stumps at the non-striker’s end. Stubbs wasn’t watching the bowler and was backing up way too early.
Upon noticing that, Chahar took a pause and gave a gentle warning about a possible run-out at the non-striker’s end. Much to the batters’ delight, Chahar didn’t run him out and gave a cheeky grin before going back to his mark.

Talking about the game, South Africa have managed to score 227 runs at the end of the first innings. Rossouw, who couldn’t even open his account in the first two matches, went on to score his maiden T20I hundred. He remained unbeaten on 100 off 48 deliveries.
As for India, the pacers have, once again, conceded plenty of runs. It will be interesting to see if India chase down the score and register a 3-0 whitewash.
