On Day 4 of the ongoing FIFA World Cup, fans were gearing up to see top teams like Germany, Belgium, and Croatia in action. After an upset on Day 3, big teams were cautious regarding their matches. First, Morocco took on Croatia in Al Bayt Stadium. Then, Germany locked horns with Japan in Khalifa International Stadium in the second match.
Then, Spain took on Costa Rica at Al Thumama Stadium while Belgium took on Canada at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium. All teams of both Group E and Group F were in action. However, Japan produced an upset against Germany. On the other hand, Spain thrashed Costa Rica by seven goals to nil.

It was a Group F encounter in the ongoing World Cup. However, Croatian fans were hoping to see them easily win the match. But, they failed to do so. The match ended in a draw and both teams got one point each from the game.
Germany vs Japan (1-2)
German fans were dreaming of a good start to this year’s World Cup campaign. But, Japan shattered their dream as they produced an epic upset. They managed to defeat Germany by a scoreline of 1-2. Ilkay Gundogan opened the scoring for Germany in the 33rd minute from the spot. But, Japan scored two late goals in 75th and 83rd minutes respectively. Ritsu Doan and Takuma Asano were the goalscorers for Japan.
Spain vs Costa Rica (7-0)
Spain did not disappoint their fans as they announced their arrival in the World Cup in some grand style. They thrashed Costa Rica by a scoreline of 7-0. Dani Almo, Marco Asensio, Ferran Torres (Two Goals), Gavi, Carlos Soler, and Alvaro Morata were the scorers.
Belgium vs Canada (1-0)
Canada impressed everyone with their attacking abilities with the ball in this clash. But, Alphonso Davies failed to score a penalty in the first half. Then, Michy Batshuayi opened the scoring for the Red Devils in the 44th minute. However, no more goals were scored in the match as Belgium edged past Canada by a scoreline of 1-0.
