Pakistan team locked horns with England in the final of the 20-20 World Cup on 13 November 2022. The final took place at the MCG. All Pakistani fans were hoping to win that title for the second time in their history. But, Babar Azam and his men failed to fulfill the dream.

England managed to defeat the Men in Green by five wickets in order to lift the Cup. Meanwhile, that loss left all Pakistani fans frustrated. But, now a video has gone viral where a Pakistani fan was seen taking a dig at the Men in Blue on a live TV show.

Speaking of the video, an Indian reporter was seen having an interaction with a Pakistani fan outside of the MCG stadium. There, the reporter asked the fan about his experience regarding the final. So, he said that it was just a loss for their team but the team have made all people proud. 

But, in continuation to that, the fan said that some teams should be happy with the dream of playing the final. Those teams do not have the standards to even play the final. However, such a comment from the fan did not go well with the Indian fans. It seemed like the Pakistani fan took a dig at team India as they failed to qualify for the final. India lost against the eventual winners, England in the semi-final in Adelaide.

Speaking about the final, Jos Buttler won the toss and asked Pakistan to bat first. Babar Azam and his men scored 137 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs. Shan Masood was the highest scorer for them with 38 runs off 28 balls. Sam Curran took three wickets for 12 runs in his four overs. In reply, England managed to win the match in 19 overs. Sam Curran won the player of the match award for his match-winning spell with the ball.
