An all-rounder in the team can make or break the team balance, which is why it is important to have a good one in the side. While the number of all-rounders has grown by a lot, it is still difficult to find genuine all-rounders. The Indian T20 League has seen many of these players who have done well for their teams in all the departments. Here is a list of the best all-rounders in the history of the Indian T20 League.

Hardik Pandya

The captain of the new Gujarat team was an integral part of the Mumbai setup for many years. He got them many glories, including his best knock of 91 against Kolkata when it all seemed impossible. In the 92 games that he played for the Mumbai team, he scored 1476 runs at a massive strike rate of 154. The all-rounder was not the best with the ball at the start, but that improved a lot over time. He has not bowled a lot of overs due to injury concerns of late but has 42 wickets at a strike rate of 20.7. Pandya is great in the field as well. He can easily fetch the ball that, at times, can seem impossible to get to.

Dwayne Bravo

The champion, Dwayne Bravo, has been a great contributor to the Chennai team and the ITL. The slower balls that he produces, has left many players in shock. The West Indian joined the Chennai team in 2011. They managed to buy him back at the recent mega auction, after releasing him ahead of the auction.  In the 151 games that he has played in the ITL, he has scored 1537 runs with a decent strike rate of 130. However, it is his bowling that has done wonders. He has 167 wickets at a strike rate of 17.4. The 2013 and the 2015 seasons also saw him get the hold of the purple cap.

Andre Russell

The power-house Andre Russell has been Kolkata's saviour on many occasions as he scored some huge runs for the team. Kolkata's team management showed a lot of trust in him by retaining him ahead of the 2022 season. He has scored exactly 1700 runs in the tournament in the 84 matches that he has played. He also has a gigantic strike rate of 178.6. His bowling skills have sometimes been underrated. Russell has bowled more overs and has taken more wickets than one would imagine. He has 72 wickets in the tournament but can work on his economy.

Ravindra Jadeja

Ravindra Jadeja has been one of the greatest scouts for India from the ITL. He has been India's best all-rounder thanks to his ITL team Chennai. Playing under MS Dhoni helped Jadeja a lot as he did great for the team. Jadeja has been a consistent player for all the teams that he has played for. In the 200 matches that he has played, Jadeja has scored 2386 runs at an average of 27.1, which is a great strike rate for a player who bats down the order. He also has 127 wickets to his name and has a good economy of 7.6. Apart from all this, he is always electric on the field.

Kieron Pollard

The overseas star for the Mumbai team can be counted as one of the all-time greats of the Indian T20 League. His contribution to the team is immense. Mumbai has always relied on him to get them the best results. The big man has played 178 games and has 3268 runs to his name including 16 half-centuries. He also has a big strike rate of close to 150 in the tournament. While he is not their go-to bowler, Mumbai has often turned to him to get some overs out of the way. He has 65 wickets, which is not the highest but have come in handy to the team. Pollard also has some of the best catches in the tournament that are remembered to date.
