The star wicketkeeper batter is not behind his predecessor in terms of cracking jokes. In the last few years, there have been many instances when his antics have been caught on the mic.

Recently, he was caught saying 'Takkar maar dun kya'. These lines attracted a lot of laughter from the audiences watching the game on TV or live streaming websites. Also, his comments on Tim Paine being a 'temporary captain' also attracted a lot of laughter.

The former Australia skipper used to be famous for his antics behind the stumps when he was leading the side from 2018-2021. Fans might remember his comments on Rishabh Pant not being selected for an ODI series while the latter was batting. Paine had said that he needs a babysitter.

Not just this, in Sydney Test against India last year, he said that he can't wait to go to 'The Gabba'. Even though he was hit back on both occasions, there is no doubt about his sense of humour being good.

The Sri Lanka player mostly speaks in his native language - Sinhalese which is difficult to understand for most people outside of the island nation. However, his antics behind the stumps sometimes sounds very funny. Even though the viewers who understand the language find him extremely funny.

He has been heard passing funny statements several times. Thus, his presence automatic makes the fans chuckle.
