Five cricketers who can play James Bond

Cricketers and acting sometimes go hand-in-hand. After all, when they work in advertisements, they act in a certain way. However, it is to be noted that not everyone can work as an actor. After all, it is a different skill as compared to either running into bowl or facing a lightning-quick bowler. In acting, it is important to understand the requirements of a role and improvise accordingly.

This is the reason we have only selected five candidates for the role of James Bond. Although it is a fictional thing, these are the best possible candidates. The experienced spy has been undefeated in all the parts of the series. Both resemble a lot in terms of personality which is why the Protean might be the best candidate for the job

2. James Anderson

The lead pacer for England in Tests is still one of the invincible players in world cricket. At the age of 40, he is still willing to play the longest format of the game. Currently, he has played 173 games and doesn't look like stopping soon.

On the other hand, James Bond also doesn't look like stopping on catching the criminals. Even at this age, he is fit and agile, just the English pacer

3. Pat Cummins

The 2021 20-20 World Cup winner is one of the fierce bowlers in world cricket. Irrespective of any formats, pitch conditions, etc, he has this relentlessness that makes him a top bowler.

On the other hand, one of the biggest qualities of James Bond is that he is fierce and determined for his job. Both the personalities have this similarity.

4. Aiden Markram

Star Proteas player is one of the most handsome players across the globe. Talking about his looks, he is a good-looking person who can grab this role. However, it will be interesting to see how he aces the acting part.

James Bond is also one of the handsome characters even though he has grown old. The former South Africa U19 player can also be one of the candidates for the role.

The former India skipper is not just good on the cricket field but also does well in the acting job. Over the years, he has aced a lot of roles in advertisement films which is not an easy job.

Just like Bond, he is also determined, fierce, and competitive which is why the 33-year-old can easily be one of the top contenders for the role.
