One of the most anticipated movies in recent times is Shabaash Mithu, starring Tapsee Pannu. The movie is based on the inspirational life of Indian Women's cricket team captain, Mithali Raj. The teaser for the movie was released recently and shared by Taapsee Pannu.

Taapsee Pannu has completely immersed herself in the character of Mithali. Viacom 18 Studios is producing the biographical sports drama film, which will be directed by famous Bengali filmmaker and screenwriter Srijit Mukherji. As of now, there is no official release date for the film.

Mithali Raj, the captain of India's women's cricket team, has various cricketing accomplishments to her name in a successful 23-year career. She was essential in promoting women's cricket in India, while also leading the Women in Blue to two World Cup finals, in 2005 and 2017.

Raj is presently leading India in the ongoing Women's World Cup 2022 in New Zealand, where the Indian women are competing for a semifinal place. Meanwhile, the fans showed great support and love for the trailer.
