Recently, the former WWE employee, head of writing Vince Russo has come up with a big statement on Paul Heyman. Russo has made some shocking allegations about Heyman that the latter was involved in preventing the hiring of the WCW champion in the WWE company. I

It was the year 2001 almost 22 years back when WCW was no more in the business. At the same time, the WWE picked initiated the process of signing some talents who were at their peak in the WCW during that era.

Mike Sanders was considered among the frontrunners during this entire contract process. He happened to move into Heartland Wrestling Association alongside the stars including the likes of Mark Jindrak Jamie Noble, Lash LeRoux, and a few other stars as well.

The champion of WCW, Mark Sanders couldn’t make it to the main event of the WWE and he was released the further year.

Speaking on the same, Vince Russo revealed while he was talking this week on Legion of RAW that it was Paul Heyman who had a major involvement when this entire process of WCW and ECW stars joining WWE was happening in 2001.

Here's what Vincent Russo said on Paul Heyman's role in WWE signings

Russo further claimed that it was only Paul who tried to make sure that WCW Cruiserweight Champion Sanders shouldn’t get a WWE signing.

"Meanwhile, here's the scoop, that they can post some more if they want. When Mike Sanders, who was a great talker, was gonna come over to RAW after the WCW buyout and whatnot, Paul Heyman did everything in his power to prevent Mike Sanders from being hired. If you don't believe me, have Sanders on the show and he'll tell you the story himself,” said Russo on Paul Heyman.

Later on, Russo also talked about the possible reasons behind the TNA not hiring Paul Heyman ever in their company.

"What happened was, Dixie Carter set up a meeting with Paul Heyman and Spike TV, which Dixie Carter did not go to him with. So now, it's just Paul and Spike TV. And what did Paul try and do? He tried to go over Dixie's head, he tried to go over everybody's head and he tried to convince Spike TV that they needed an Executive Producer of the show to be the top guy overlooking everything. And who was that Executive Producer? Of course, it was Paul Heyman. And when Dixie found out what he had done, obviously at that point she was not going to hire him,” stated Vincent Russo.
