In the field of motor racing series, All-Women F1 Academy made its entry to change the paradigms of racing. The first edition of the all-female series concluded earlier this year in 2023. Now, in a recent piece of news, the F1 Academy is all set to be a part of Formula 1 as a support series in 2024.

The series will be having 5 teams with three drivers on every team. The Academy will target the direction of growth and development of emerging and young female drivers. It will also support them to compete and go ahead to the further high levels of the competition.

The teams in this F4-level series will include the likes of ART Grand Prix, Campos Racing, MP Motorsport, Prema Racing, and Rodin Carlin. Each team will be represented on the grid by three drivers. Furthermore, the 10 drivers from the participating 15 drivers will get an opportunity to be inducted by an F1 team next year. Following that, they will be eligible to appear in the liver of their teams.

“Today is a very important moment as it shows the impact the project is having and the support it is receiving from across the F1 community. In 2024 the F1 Academy will join our race calendar, raising the awareness and profile of the series globally, and to have the F1 liveries on the grid will be something very special,” said Formula 1 Chief Executive Stefano Domenicali in a statement.
