#ViratKohli was trending early in the day today, February 23 as Twitter gave Virat Kohli the title he deserves. He has been called King Kohli for many years now, and earlier today Twitter added a goat emoticon to Virat Kohli's hashtag. G.O.A.T is new-age lingo for Greatest Of All Times, and hence the goat symbol.

The former captain has been one of India's best players ever. He has a total of 70 international centuries and is only behind Sachin Tendulkar in terms of most hundreds. He has been a subject of talk for a while now as he has been around many controversies. Virat first stepped down as India's T20 captain, he was then sacked as the ODI captain, and eventually, he gave up the Test captaincy as well.

Notably, Virat has not scored a three-digit score in over two years. He has scored many half-centuries in this time, but fans seem to want more. With the standard of the game that he has set, fans always expect more from him. However, despite his low returns in recent times, one cannot deny that he is one of the best in business.

Virat recently played a good knock of 52 against the West Indies in the second T20 before he was rested. He has also been rested for the T20 series against Sri Lanka but will be back for the two-match Test series. He will be keen to end his century drought against Sri Lanka, a team that he loves to bat against.

Here are some Twitter reactions for Virat getting the title of G.O.A.T
