First look at the extended gameplay of Dragon’s Dogma 2 released by IGN have players wanting more. Set to release this year on 22 Mar, 2024 and is the sequel for Dragon’s Dogma released back in 2012.

The gameplay trailer shows different starting classes Fighter, Thief, Warrior, and Sorcerer. While the game did not have a fan following during release, over the years, a considerable number of fans are looking forward to the game.

First look at the combat seems snappy with AI companions also helping out the player. These companions can reportedly be trained as they gain experience travelling with you. They will then be able to perform different tasks and play roles during combat.

The boss and mini-boss fights also seem fun and will have the option for different approaches while playing. Players can even use the environment to their advantage.

Gamers who have played the first game or other games like The Witcher 3 or Elden Ring will instantly feel cosy. However, optimization and storytelling will also play a huge part in making or breaking the game.

The game is an open-world narrative-driven action-RPG and will feature multiple boss fights and, an engaging storyline. Capcom also seems to have worked on artificial intelligence in order to provide gamers with the most engaging experience.

The combat also seems snappy, however, some players may need a little time to get used to them. Camera control in these games can also be weird, especially if you are fighting something far bigger than you in size or during a gank fight.

There is still time for release, so in the meantime, players can try out the original game and get to know the lore. The exploration and combat alone make the game worth playing.
