India and Pakistan are all set to lock horns in the highly-anticipated encounter during the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023 in India. Both teams will be taking on each other in the league stage on Sunday, the 15th of October 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Meanwhile, just after the announcement of the schedule and the India-Pakistan clash in the league stage, the hotel prices in the city of Ahmedabad skyrocketed within a day's time. Notably, India and Pakistan last went head-on in the T20 World Cup 2022 at the MCG in Melbourne.
Coming back to the outrageous hotel prices in Ahmedabad, this news actually didn’t go down well with a section of the Indian cricket fans. They immediately took to Twitter and trolled the Indian Cricket Board and hotels in Ahmedabad for this inflation of prices.

India will start their campaign in the ODI World Cup 2023 with the first match against Australia on Sunday, the 8th of October 2023 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
