Virat Kohli and Babar Azam are two of the greatest cricketers of this generation. Both have been around for a while now, and the teams rely on them to get the best results. And now, former Pakistani cricketer, Rashid Latif, has said that he can win the World Cup with just these two players.

While Kohli has been a part of the World Cup-winning team in 2011, Azam is yet to taste World Cup glory. "Give me Babar Azam, Virat Kohli and nine pieces of wood and I will win you the World Cup," Latif said in a video that he uploaded on his Twitter account.

Notably, 'this nine pieces of wood' quote was used by legendary Manchester United coach, Sir Alex Ferguson. He once said, "Give me 10 pieces of wood and Zinedine Zidane and I'll win the Champions League."

Meanwhile, recently Babar Azam led Pakistan in a historic series against Australia. This was the first time Australia toured Pakistan in 24 years. Azam was in great form in the series and scored 390 runs in the Test series, including a century. He got 276 runs in the ODI series with two centuries, and 66 runs in the one-off T20 match.

Virat Kohli, on the other hand, has stepped down as the Indian captain. However, he continues to go strong for them. He is currently playing in the Indian T20 League for Bangalore. The team has started well in the tournament, having won two of their three games. Virat too has had a decent start in the tournament with 41 runs in their first match.
