GK Anil Kumar claims Devdutt Padikkal will be one of the greatest Indian Players in future

Former Karnataka coach GK Anil Kumar has praised the Indian young batsman Devdutt Padikkal for his heroics in IPL 2020. GK Anil Kumar has been one of the best talent scouters for Team India. KL Rahul, Karun Nair or Mayank Agarwal are just a few of the cricketers whose career Anil Kumar has supported as coach of Karnataka's Under-19 team.

Devdutt Padikkal had one of the best seasons that any player has had throughout the entire IPL history. The young batsman from Bangalore has smashed 473 runs from 15 games in the ongoing IPL 2020. Furthermore, in his first-ever season for RCB, he has become their top-scorer for the season.

Anil Kumar stated that Pandya, Bumrah took some time. They took 1-2 years to truly build up their career. With Padikkal, it can be unmistakably said that the sort of effect he's had in his first IPL is intense. According to the coach, it is truly hard to categorize Padikkal.

“I think he will definitely be a top contender and reach where Pandya and Bumrah are. Without a doubt, Padikkal will rise to incredible heights with this IPL,” he added.

RCB's fans had been hanging tight for his appearance in the IPL since the last season of the tournament.
