Goldberg might face his arch-rival in the last appearance at the WWE

WWE superstar Goldberg is currently in the headlines of the WWE as there are speculations that he could appear for the very last time in the ring. The media reports have also learned that the former Universal Champion is willing to come back again in action before calling it off from the ring.

“Goldberg is expected to wrestle in Israel later this year in what could be his final bout,” says the promoter, Rick Bassman.

Later on, Brassman also shed light on the potential opponent of Goldberg in his last appearance at the WWE.

“Current AEW star, Sting, could be part of the show. The Icon would be the perfect final opponent for the WWE Hall of Famer, as the two have a storied history from their days in WCW. Their contrasting styles and larger-than-life personas would make for a gripping showdown, capturing the imagination of fans and paying homage to their past battles,” Brasmann added further.

Both the superstars share a long-time rivalry

Notably, Sting and Goldberg had been the biggest rivals in the era of the late 90s; their fights always kept the fans on their toes with the amazing bouts around the corner.

Other than Goldberg, Sting has also confessed that he could also bid adieu to professional wrestling. So, there might be a perfect farewell match for both WWE superstars.
