Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is set to become the fifth captain for India to lead the team in any final of the major world tournament. Earlier, a few of the most successful Indian skippers like Kapil Dev, Sourav Ganguly, and Virat Kohli had led Team India in the final of the marquee international tournaments.

Notably, the upcoming highly anticipated World Test Championship 2023 final between India and Australia will also be the first-ever final to lead the team for Rohit Sharma in any major international tournament.

Meanwhile, the fans are also hopeful of success for skipper Sharma in his first-ever appearance as skipper for India in the World Test Championship final. They took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to come up with a lot of reactions and responses for Rohit Sharma and also wished him luck ahead of the WTC 2023 final.

It was the time when the Indian team locked horns with the Kiwis under the captaincy of former skipper and batting superstar Virat Kohli.
