Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad locked horns in their last league match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The hosts’ skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and asked SRH to bat first at probably a batting-supportive turf of the Wankhede Stadium. Batting first, Aiden Markram’s men managed to post a big total of 200 runs for the loss of five wickets in the first 20 overs of the game.

Later on, the five-time champions Mumbai Indians comfortably chased down the total and won the match by a massive margin of eight wickets. With this win, MI have also strengthened their chances to secure their place in the playoffs of the current season as RCB and GT are yet to play the last league match of this season at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
