Former India skipper Virat Kohli is leading the Royal Challengers Bangalore side in the ongoing game against Punjab Kings. In the game, he scored another half-century in the ongoing season. Kohli started going with a four in the second over against Harpreet Brar. In the next over, the right-hander hit two fours to his India teammate, Arshdeep Singh. At the end of the powerplay, Kohli scored 32 off 23 balls including four fours.
He had a partnership of 137 runs with regular skipper Faf du Plessis. During the partnership, the 2008 U19 World Cup-winning skipper scored 59 off 47 balls including a six. His strike rate was 125.53 and has become a matter of criticism from the fans. They feel that he should have upped the ante after batting for 16 overs at the crease.
