The young GT opener Shubman Gill impressed the cricket fans and experts with his sensational century against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the last league match of the Indian Premier League 2023. He smashed 104 runs off just 52 balls with five boundaries and eight sixes to his name. It was also the second century for Gill in the current season of the tournament.

Apart from his batting excellence on the ground, Gill made it to the headlines of social media for his recent shirtless picture, which he posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter from his official account.

He is just behind RCB skipper Faf du Plessis in the list of highest run-scorers. The 23-year-old has aggregated 680 runs with a commendable average of 56.66 having two centuries and six half-centuries to his name.

Notably, Gill has also a chance to surpass Faf du Plessis and get the orange cap as he is yet to play in the first qualifier of the tournament for Gujarat Titans against the four-time champions Chennai Super Kings. Both teams will play this match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai tomorrow the 23rd of May from 7.30 PM.
