Australia all-rounder Glenn Maxwell and wife Vini Raman were blessed with a baby boy on September 11. The mother of the newborn child took her Instagram and shared the first photo of the baby along with the name “Logan Maverick Maxwell” and the date. The all-rounder is currently out of cricket due to an ankle injury. He will likely miss the upcoming ODI series against India as he wants to manage his preparation ahead of this year’s ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.
The couple met at a friend’s wedding in 2017 and started dating soon after that. They got engaged in March 2020 in a traditional Indian ceremony. Maxwell and Raman had a double wedding ceremony in March 2022, first in a Christian ceremony in Australia and then in a traditional Tamil ceremony in Melbourne. Last month the couple had their baby shower as well.

Vini Raman took her Instagram where she mentioned the date and name “11.09.2023 | Logan Maverick Maxwell” captioned Vini. Last month she shared the first picture of her baby bump with colour full bangles. The next frame in the album is a candid picture of Vini. She also added a few pictures from the ceremony. She also shared selfies one of them is with the veteran all-rounder as well.
Earlier in May, Vini shared a picture of a baby cloth with a frame of her ultrasound where she also revealed that they are expecting a baby boy and wrote, "Glenn and I are ecstatic to announce our rainbow baby is due September 2023. It’s so important for us to acknowledge this journey has not been the smoothest or easiest. I know first-hand how painful it can be to see posts like these wondering if and when your time will be. We send our love and strength to other couples who are struggling with fertility or loss."
The all-rounder was ruled out of the recently concluded T20I series in South Africa. He is still battling ankle soreness from the leg injury he suffered at a friend’s birthday party last year. He still believes in his appearance during Australia’s ODI series in India later this month. The 34-year-old tries to be fit for the World Cup.
