Harshal Patel has emerged to be one of Bangalore's key players. As a matter of fact, he was the Purple Cap winner of the 2021 edition. Besides, he won the MVP of the season award during the previous edition as well. Thus, Bangalore purchased him for a hefty price during the mega auction.

He has been superb in the first four games of the Indian T20 league 2022 for the Faf du Plessis-led side as well. The bowling all-rounder has picked six wickets so far, and has been one of the major reasons why Bangalore have won three out of their four games. However, in what comes as unfortunate news, Patel has left Bangalore's bio-bubble.

Due to an unfortunate death in his family, the 31-year-old has left the Bangalore camp to join his family. According to a report by Dainik Jagran, Patel's sister passed away. Thus, he went back home from Pune. His teammates have left for Mumbai, where they will be facing Chennai in their fifth game.

However, this report further states that he will be joining his team's bio-bubble before their upcoming game against the defending champions. A passionate fan took to Twitter to share the same. An Indian T20 league source stated that he will be available for the game against Chennai on April 12.

“Unfortunately, Harshal had to leave the bio-bubble due to a death in his family. He will be rejoining the bubble before the next game against Chennai on April 12,” said the Indian T20 league source. This comes as promising news for the fans of the franchise as he has been an impactful player for them.

Not only has he been amongst the wickets, but he has also scored some handy runs as well. As far as Bangalore are concerned, then they won their latest fixture against Mumbai. Harshal Patel took two wickets during the game on Saturday.
