The debate of ‘who is better between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo?’ is not something new for the footballing world. There are always some statements that spark a new debate or a controversial discussion in the footballing fraternity on these two legends. Recently, the former Argentina international Sergio Aguero started another debate and Twitter war with his statement comparing Cristiano Ronaldo with the World Cup winner Argentina skipper Lionel Messi.
Notably, Messi has recently surpassed Ronaldo in scoring the most goals in European football with a goal scored on Sunday. Just after that, Aguero came up with a statement that sparked a wave of controversial comments on the micro-blogging site Twitter.
"Look where he scores the goal from," Aguero explained. "Come on. All free-kick goals and pure luck. Messi's are all at the angle, stupid. But what does
These comments from Messi’s great best friend didn’t go down well with a lot of football fans and they came took to Twitter to come up with a lot angry and reactions to register their dissent. Notably, Aguero means a lot more for Messi just than his former international teammate while playing for Argentina.
Here’s how fans reacted:
he has to bring in Messi because he can’t compete with Ronaldo 😂

Between the two techniques, he's not wrong. One uses placement and one knuckleball. Didn't Ronaldo shoot over 100 free kicks for Portugal a few years back without even getting it on target? 1 goal from 100 FK's at Juve too. He takes them ALL.
