Team India are currently busy playing the three-match T20I series in New Zealand, First game of the series got abandoned due to heavy rain in Wellington on 18 November 2022. But, on 20 November, team India managed to win the second game over the Kiwis. However, big-name players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli took a rest from the tour. Therefore, Hardik Pandya became the leader in this series.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is currently enjoying a vacation with his wife Anushka Sharma, and his daughter, Vamika. They visited Nainital, Uttarakhand for a small break. Now, he came up with a viral Instagram story about former Indian skipper MS Dhoni and fans went crazy.

Virat Kohli scored 296 runs in six innings of the 20-20 World Cup 2022

Speaking of the story, Virat Kohli shared a picture of a water bottle where an image of MS Dhoni was printed. While sharing that image, Kohli wrote: “He is everywhere. Even on the water bottle.” Everyone knows the love and bond between Kohli and Dhoni since their playing days.

However, Virat Kohli enjoyed a great 20-20 World Cup for team India recently. He scored 296 runs in six innings, at an average of 98.66. Before the World Cup, the Governing Body of Cricket took an interview where they asked Virat  Kohli about his relationship with the former skipper. He said: "What I experienced with my friendship and relationship with MS Dhoni is very difficult to explain because it is based on understanding and trust.” 

“We never actually, when people talk about batting together and calling for runs, as soon as the ball went into the gap, we never called. I knew he was running for two, I am running for two. We had a misunderstanding once or twice in 10-12 years. Apart from that, we were so focused on what the team wanted and what we need to do for the team all the time. There was always that trust, faith between each other that we are going to do the job for the team.” Virat Kohli said.
