Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the legends to have ever played the game and one has to agree that 2022 turned out to be one of the worst years for the Portugal star, given that he was terminated from Manchester United after a mutual agreement and was dropped for the game in the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup 2022 and eventually lost his son earlier in the year.
In his interview with Piers Morgan about Manchester United and the chief Erik ten Hag, Ronaldo claimed that he has no respect for the latter, as he did not get the same amount of respect. This conversation with Morgan, made things worse for the renowned star, eventually forcing the club to terminate his contract.
As things stand, a renowned psychologist claimed that the veteran is living a ‘circumscribed’ life and added that Ronaldo does not have the advantage of a common man roaming around the streets. With fans still unclear about which club he would land in during January, many claim that the legendary footballer must set things right before making the next move.
Cristiano Ronaldo deserves his fortune: Jordan Peterson
The renowned psychologist Jordan Peterson said that the Portuguese footballer does not have the advantages of a common man and claimed that the player deserves all of his fortunes, given that Ronaldo is going through what can be called the worst phase of his life or his football career.
“He really, in some sense, can’t go out because he is so famous. So, nothing in his life is… He doesn’t have the advantages of someone who is ordinary,” Peterson was quoted as saying to Essentially Sports. Although reports claim that Al-Nassr are just moments away from signing in the player, the official news, however, is not made public yet.
“You can walk down to your local pharmacy. That’s a big advantage and Ronaldo doesn’t have that. You say well, he got his fortune, and he does and he deserves it as far as I’m concerned… but he lives a circumscribed life,” said the psychologist further. The Portuguese star would hope to set things right, although one could argue that his reputation and legacy are well at stake.
