Virat Kohli is known for his aggressive attitude on the field. But, off the field, he is known to be a very down-to-earth person. The former Indian captain has created a welcoming environment around him. Recently, Vivek Razdan, a former Indian cricketer, revealed another incident that showed his nature off the field.
In an interaction, Vivek Razdan narrated an incident involving Virat Kohli which left Viv Richards highly impressed. During the West Indies tour in 2019, players and the production team were travelling from Antigua to the next venue, recalled Razdan. When Viv. boarded the plane, he wanted to store his luggage in one of the overhead bins. Virat Kohli then removed his baggage from the overhead bins and put it beneath his seat to create room for Richard's luggage.
"But, all of them were occupied with players’ luggage as they entered first, so Viv looked at a couple of lockers but didn’t find any. Kohli noticed that, and he immediately walked up from his seat and rearranged the luggage of the other players. Eventually, he removed his bag, kept it below the seat ahead of him, and put Vivian Richards’ bag in that space. Sir Viv patted his shoulder and said, Thank You," said Razdan while speaking to Sportskeeda.
