Sussex and Hampshire locked horns in a match of the ongoing Vitality Blast 2023. Both teams played this match at the County Ground in Hove. Hampshire skipper James Vince won the flip of the coin and decided to field first; batting first, Sussex posted a good total of 183 runs for the loss of six wickets in the first 20 overs of the game.

Apart from the result and other actions of the match, the Sussex bowler Bradley Currie stunned everyone with his sensational field and an outstanding catch near the boundary line during the second innings of the match.

The moment came in the second innings of the match when Tymal Mills was bowling the 19th over for Sussex during Hampshire’s run chase in the second innings. Hampshire’s lower middle order batter Benny Howell lofted the second ball of the over in the on side; initially, it was looking like going to the boundary but out of nowhere and everybody’s expectations, Bradley Currie pulled out a sensational catch near the boundary line to dismiss Howell.
