After a lot of discussions and deliberations on the surface of Nagpur even before the commencement of the Test series opener between India and England; finally, the cricketing fraternity has been handed a result that the hosts India have won the match by an innings and 132 runs against Australia.
The Indian batters went on to shut all the claims of Australian media terming it as an ‘Indian ploy’ on the surface used in the Nagpur fixture. But recently, the skipper Pat Cummins himself has shown a mirror to his country’s media and former cricketers alongside experts of the game.
Pat Cummins has admitted in the aftermath of defeat against Australia that the track wasn’t unplayable. Although Cummins may have tried to play safe in his statement it was the very track where India scored 400 runs in the first innings in response to the total of 177 runs in the first innings.
Subsequently, Indian cricket didn’t miss this opportunity to lash out at the Australian media following a clearance from the man himself who was leading the team in the middle.
Here’s how fans trolled Australian media and cricket experts:

Cummins wanted IPL contract. What a shame to accept truth.

Apart from this, the Australian skipper also talked about the line of fault for the Australian team in the first of the four-match Test series against India.
“Hard to know. That will be the review in the next few days. I think everyone came with pretty clear plans. The challenge is under the furnace to be brave enough to be proactive at the time. That will be the conversations over the next couple of days. We faced some pretty tough bowlers at times,” the Australia skipper said at the post-match media conference,” said Cummins during the post-match press conference.
“You saw Smith and Alex Carey at times put the pressure back on the bowlers. I think it takes a bit of bravery, it’s easier said than done. If you’re just facing ball after ball and the bowler’s pretty good, you’re going to get one with your name on it,” he added later.
