The one-off Test was played in the Gangotri Glades Cricket Ground at Mysore from November 16 to 19. Mithali Raj was the captain of the Indian team while Mignon du Preez led the South African team.

The Indian women’s team elected to bat first after winning the toss. Thirush Kamini and Punam Raut made 192 runs and 130 runs respectively to put a target of 400 for the loss of six wickets. A 275 run partnership was stitched between Kamini and Raut to ensure the Indian team gets to put a chalking target on board.

South African off-spinner Sunette Loubser picked the three crucial wickets of Mithali Raj, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Jhulan Goswami in the first innings.

The Indian women’s team won the one-off Test against South Africa by an innings and 34 runs.
