The West Indies Women’s team played against Pakistan Women’s team in the first game of the 3-match T20I series. The Pakistan team lost by just 10 runs. But all-rounder Nadia Dar made history by becoming the first Pakistani cricketer to pick up 100 T20I wickets. She also became the first number 6 cricketer in the world to achieve it. Dar had picked up the wicket of Deandra Dottin in the 10th over of the first innings to breach the 100 wicket mark.
Pakistani all-rounder Nadia Dar was exceptional with the ball in the first match. She gave away just 15 runs for 2 wickets. But the team lost because the Pakistan batting unit failed to chase just 137 runs. However, Nadia Dar would hope to continue her impressive bowling form to help Pakistan win the upcoming T20I.
The iconic achievement of Dar would inspire many women cricketers in Pakistan and other nations. She also joined another exclusive group yesterday. She joined Ellyse Perry to score more than 1000 runs and pick up 100+ wickets in the T20I format.
In her 11 year career, Nadia Dar has played 106 T20I matches and picked 101 wickets. She maintained an average of 18.13 and an exceptional economic rate of 5.38. Her best bowling figure has been 5/21. Before Dar, only six cricketers including men and women have crossed the 100-wicket mark.

Anisa Mohammed of West Indies was the first cricketer to pick 100 T20I wickets in the world. She accomplished the feat during the 2016 World Cup league games against Pakistan. It was her 81zt appearance for the West Indies Women’s team.

Ellyse Perry of Australia is the second player to cross the 100 wicket mark in T20I cricket. She has picked up 115 wickets in her career across 123 matches. She has maintained an average of 19.27 with her best figure being 4/12.
South Africa's Shabnim Ismail has 110 wickets under her belt whereas Anya Shrubsole of England has picked 102 wickets. They are the other women cricketers to pick up 100 wickets in T20I games.
Lasith Malinga is the only male player who has crossed the 100 wicket mark so far. He has picked up 107 wickets in 84 games with his best figure being ⅚ against New Zealand. Tim Southee of New Zealand would soon cross the 100 wicket mark. He is in second place with 99 T20I wickets.
