'How many times you will break our hearts?'- Fans upset as Virat Kohli bags golden duck against Lucknow

Former Bangalore captain, Virat Kohli has been going through a massive slump. After enduring a poor run in the first few games, he was expected to come good against Lucknow.  However, things got worse for him as he was dismissed for a golden duck by Dushmantha Chameera.

On the fifth delivery of the first over of the match, the pacer dismissed opener Anuj Rawat, bringing Kohli to the middle. Virat Kohli faced his first delivery and hit the delivery straight to Deepak Hooda, who was standing at backward point.

Except for two scores of 40+, Virat has not been able to deliver much. He has scored 119 runs in seven innings at a strike rate of just 124. While Kohli fans are getting frustrated, the batter will be keen on getting back his lost touch in the games to come.

Meanwhile, the men in red and blue did not have the best start to the match against Lucknow. They scored 47 runs in the first six overs, but lost three wickets in the process. Dushmantha Chameera got rid of Anuj Rawat and Virat Kohli in the first over before Bangalore lost Glenn Maxwell to Krunal Pandya in the sixth over.

Bangalore are eyeing their fifth win of the season. They are currently placed fourth in the standings, with eight points in six games.

Twitter was upset with Virat Kohli getting out on a golden duck. A user suggested that Virat should take a break from cricket to clear off his mind. "Virat should take a break from cricket," the user wrote.
