Team India have reached Australia for the upcoming 20-20 World Cup. On 7 October 2022, all players attended their first training session. After winning both the T20I series against Australia and South Africa at home, India are looking to do well in the mega event. Speaking of the selected squad, there are some players who will play their first-ever World Cup this time around.
Yuzvendra Chahal is one of them along with Harshal Patel, Arshdeep Singh, and Deepak Hooda. Therefore, Chahal came up with his chat show named ‘Chahal TV’ to have a chat with the other three players. They shared their excitement ahead of the World Cup as the Indian Cricket Board shared the same video on Twitter.

Yuzvendra Chahal missed the chance to play for India in the last 20-20 World Cup
Speaking of the video, Yuzvendra Chahal asked those three players about their experience so far after getting a chance to play in the World Cup. In reply, Harshal Patel said: “The atmosphere is great here, even within the team. We are looking forward to building this up to the first game.” Then, Deepak Hooda said: “Obviously. It was a proud moment for me and for my family after getting the news. Like Harshal Bhai said we are all set for the World Cup.” Even, Arshdeep Singh did not add a single word.
Then, they shared the moment when they got the chance to wear the Indian Team’s blazer. All players wore it before leaving for Australia. So, these players shared it as a ‘proud’ moment for them. Then, Chahal questioned the preparation for the first match against Pakistan. In reply, they said that in the coming weeks, they will look to get used to the Australian conditions. It will help them to do well in the tournament.
Yuzvendra Chahal also said that he is quite excited to be a part of this World Cup. He also said that his previous visit to Australia will help him to assess the conditions better this time around. Finally, Arshdeep Singh claimed support from the Indian fans for the World Cup. “Keep supporting us. We will give our best and thank you.” Arshdeep Singh concluded.
