'I didn't say that'- Ronaldo clarifies his 'I am not finished' remark on camera

The Portugal and Manchester United football star, Cristiano Ronaldo has had a great season with Manchester United. While the red devils were not at their best during the season, Ronaldo had a good run, with 18 goals to his name. The 37-year-old has been one of the greatest footballers to have played the game. The striker has scored a lot of goals in his career, but as he gets older, there's always speculation about how long he'll be available to clubs and the national team.

With a change in management, there are clouds of uncertainty about Ronaldo's future in the Premier League despite a fantastic tenure with Manchester United. According to reports, United's new manager, Erik ten Hag, does not want Ronaldo in the starting lineup. Many have speculated that this is the end for the superstar.

Meanwhile, after the final game of the season against Brentford, Ronaldo was heard saying, "I am not done yet" to the camera, when walking off the field. The video of the same went viral across the internet.

However, later the football star clarified on Instagram that he didn't say that on the camera.

Talking about game against Brentford, Ronaldo scored a penalty goal in the 61st minute to increase his team's lead. The club eventually won the game 3-0, finishing up a rocky season on a high note.

When Ronaldo moved to United, it was expected that he would stay with the club for a longer run. However, it now appears that neither Ronaldo nor Manchester United's administration are interested in extending his contract.  According to rumours, Ronaldo's former club, Real Madrid, is interested in re-signing the Portuguese striker. The club's management is impressed with Ronaldo's performance with United and may bring him back for a second stint.
