Aakash Chopra opines that RCB should not include Dan Christian in the playing XI for the match against the DC. The Royal Challengers Bangalore bought Dan Christian for a whopping amount of 4.8 crores in the IPL 2021 mini-auction. The pacer was brought based on his experience of winning championship titles in T20 format across the globe. However, his performance in the ongoing IPL tournament has been disappointing so far. In the last three games that he has played, Christian hasn't picked up any wickets in his quota of overs.
Aakash Chopra proposed the inclusion of Daniel Sams in the RCB playing XI as a replacement for Dan Christian. Australian pacer Daniel Sams recently joined the RCB bio-bubble after recovering from COVID-19. The Bangalore-based outfit might look to include him in their playing XI if he has regained full fitness. The Australian cricketer tested positive for the virus before the start of the 14th edition of the IPL. RCB said that the all-rounder had tested negative on his arrival at the team hotel in Chennai. The Australian pacer was the second cricketer from the RCB squad who has recovered after contracting the virus. Earlier, opening batsman, Devdutt Padikkal joined the team after returning negative for coronavirus.

Playing for Sydney Thunder, he scored 200 runs at a superb strike-rate of 188.67. With the ball, the pacer claimed 11 wickets. He also played a crucial 15-ball 41-run knock against New Zealand during the second match of the T20I series last month.RCB has won four games out of the five outings.
