New Zealand pacer Trent Boult praised Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma and stated that Rohit backs his players to execute their skills. The Kiwi player has been a part of MI since last season. He was traded to Mumbai Indians from Delhi Capitals ahead of IPL 2020. The seamer proved to be an excellent addition to the team. He ended up being the third-highest wicket-taker in IPL 2020.

Boult picked up 25 wickets and was also MI's highest wicket-taker in the tournament after Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah (27). The New Zealander is spotted fourth in the Purple Cap list with six wickets to his name in three matches at a brilliant average of 15.17. MI skipper Rohit Sharma shone with the bat, but other players could not get going. The misfiring middle-order would be a significant concern for the team in the remaining matches. The MI bowlers have more often risen to the occasion and won games for the team. However, they couldn't do so the same against DC.
