He had initially been due to return in time to be considered for the fourth and final Test against India. IPL is returning back to India. The young all-rounder feels like this season will be crucial for players to become familiar with the conditions. Curran pointed out that IPL made him a much better player as he got to play different roles and got challenged in many different ways. The youngster feels that the upcoming edition of the IPL will help him fix his spot in England playing XI.
India and England will battle in five T20I matches at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, on March 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20. The T20I series will then be followed by a 3-match ODI series. All the games will take place at the MCA Stadium in Pune from March 23.
