The young Afghanistan pacer Naveen ul Haq is continuously on the receiving end of harsh trolls and is being subjected to abuses from a section of Indian cricket fans. It all started when he was involved in a heated on-field argument with the former RCB skipper and batting superstar Virat Kohli.
Notably, Naveen is currently associated with the IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants in the ongoing edition of the tournament. He got brutally trolled on the micro-blogging site Twitter just after the ugly scenes and uncomfortable line of incidents at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow during and after the end of a low-scoring affair between LSG and RCB.
Meanwhile, the young LSG pacer has also cleared his stance on his verbal spat with the Indian batting superstar Virat Kohli. The media reports have learned about the statement given by Naveen to his LSG statement in the aftermath of the match.
“I have come here to play in the IPL, not to take abuse from anyone,” Naveen ul Haq was reportedly quoted as saying.
Other than this, the pacer also took to his official Instagram handle to post a story indicating to the entire incident happened last night.
Naveen ul Haq shared his thoughts about the incident on his Instagram story
“You get what you deserve. That’s how it should be and that’s how it goes,” read the Instagram story posted by Naveen ul Haq.
Earlier, Naveen ul Haq had also been involved in verbal spats with veteran cricketers like Shahid Afridi and Mohammad Amir during the Pakistan Super League. Speaking to the Cricketer magazine, he cleared about his approach on the on-field spats with any player.
“If someone is saying something to me, I won’t back off. I have had it since childhood. It comes naturally to me. I wouldn’t be speaking truthfully if I said from tomorrow, I would change it. If I said that I would back off when someone says something to me, I can’t say I wouldn’t do it. It is in my body. It is in my DNA,” said Naveen ul Haq.
