'I will be with you...' - Yash Dayal's father consoles his discouraged son after an unforgettable evening against KKR

It was not a night to remember for the Gujarat Titans pacer Yash Dayal; he was subjected to a humiliating outing by the blistering KKR southpaw Rinku Singh in the last over of the match. Yash failed to defend the 30 runs in the last six balls of the 20^th over.

Umesh Yadav took a single on the first ball of the match to give the strike to Rinku Singh; now, Kolkata Knight Riders required 29 runs in five balls and Rinku Singh went on to smash five consecutive sixes to win the match for KKR in a thrilling style by a close margin of three wickets.

Meanwhile, the discouraged and disappointed Yash Dayal’s father has come up with some motivating remarks for his son after an unforgettable outing against KKR.

"I told them (relatives who were in the stadium) to go and motivate him. Pick up his morale. He would be understandably depressed. Please go. He speaks very little. He is an introvert, and in such situations, he can become a touch numb. I have been a cricketer but being a father, and mother is something else. I did get a bit depressed, 'kyun hua, kaise hua... (why it happened, how it happened), the mind was in a loop, worried for my son,” said Chandarpal (Yash Dayal’s father) to Indian Express.

"Ghabraana nahi (Don't get scared). I then said: 'This is not some new thing in cricket. Bowlers getting hit. It has happened to big bowlers.
