On 24 January 2023, team India will lock horns with New Zealand in the third and last match of the ongoing ODI series. The match will take place in Indore and the Men in Blue will look to clean sweep the series. They have already sealed the series by winning the first two matches. Indian batters have shown great hitting abilities when they batted first in the first ODI.

In that clash, India scored 349 runs for eight wickets in 50 overs. Shubman Gill scored 208 runs off 149 balls. In the following match, New Zealand batted first and got bundled out for just 108 runs. The home side chased it down in just 20.1 overs. Now, the former team India player, Aakash Chopra came up with a huge prediction about the third ODI.

“The opposition team is weak, the pitch is extremely flat and the ground is very small.” - Aakash Chopra

Aakash Chopra shared a video on his official YouTube channel to preview the last match of the series. During that video, he said: “What can we expect from this match? The Indian team has already lived up to expectations. I won't be surprised if India score 400 if they get to bat first, that's what I feel. 200-225 runs are scored in T20s here."

He also said that all batters should look to use favorable conditions to score more runs. "The opposition team is weak, the pitch is extremely flat and the ground is very small. So when such an opportunity comes, all batters say they should improve their records because an international match is an international match," Aakash Chopra added.

He also claimed that no match is dead rubber when you are playing for your country with pride. “Nothing is on the line if it is a dead rubber. They are playing for pride and you are playing to do well. So the chances of runs getting scored increase even further in such a case. You might want to bat second here because the ground is extremely small," Aakash Chopra concluded.
