ICC releases ODI rankings with Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in the Top 2

In the ODI rankings released by the ICC on Wednesday, team India skipper, Virat Kohli, and his deputy, Rohit Sharma has retained the top two spots.

In the ODI rankings released by the ICC on Wednesday, both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma retained the top two spots. While Kohli is on top with 871 points, Rohit Sharma comes second with 855 points. Babar Azam is third on the list with 837 points.

All-rounder Imad Wasim has moved up three spots and reached 49th position.

Shaheen Afridi accomplishes career-best ODI rankings

Shaheen Afridi, who took 5/49 in the first ODI against Zimbabwe, has moved up eight spots to break into the top 20 for the first time. He received worldwide fame in New Zealand in the ICC Under-19 Men's Cricket World Cup 2018.

Wahab Riaz is another cricketer from Pakistan to improve his position in the recent ICC rankings update. He has climbed six spots to 60th position.

Brendan Taylor and Sean Williams from Zimbabwe Cricket have progressed among the batsmen, after hammering centuries in the series. Taylor has moved up nine spots to 42nd position after scoring 204 runs. It includes his knock of 112 for the first match. Williams has progressed 12 spots to 46th situation with 197 runs, which includes an unbeaten 118 in the last match.
