Speaking of Moeen Ali’s performance in the first Test of The Ashes 2023 against Australia, he scalped two wickets in the first innings of England. Later on, in the second innings, he claimed one crucial wicket of Travis Head getting the latter caught in the hands of former skipper Joe Root.

Although there are speculations that Moeen could miss the second Test of The Ashes 2023 at the Lord’s in London due to the reported injury that he sustained during the recently-concluded first Test of the series.
