Star all-rounder of Pakistan, Shadab Khan came up with an announcement on 23 January 2023. He announced his wedding to former Pakistan spinner and current head coach Saqlain Mushtaq’s daughter. However, Shadab Khan also requested privacy for his family and newly married wife.
He shared a tweet that reads: “Alhamdulilah today was my Nikkah. It is a big day in my life and the start of a new chapter. Please respect my choices and those of my wife and our families. Prayers and love for all.” He also shared a detailed note in order to keep privacy for his family.

In the statement, Shadab wrote, “Salam everyone. Alhamdulilah, today was my Nikkah. I am becoming part of mentor Saqi (Saqlain Mushtaq) bhai’s family. When I started playing cricket, I wanted to keep my family life separate, my wife has asked for the same, she wants her life to remain private. I would kindly request everyone to respect her choice and our family’s choice. However, if you want to send salami, I will send an account number.”
After that post, his teammates and fans came up with some congratulatory messages for the star cricketer. Then, Imam-Ul-Haq came up with a hilarious message that has now gone viral. In that reply, the Pakistani batter wrote: "Many congratulations Shaddy. Worried for Bhabhi (sister-in-law) though, Allah Pak unko himmat dein (God give him the power).”
Shadab Khan also acknowledged ad thanked everyone for their wishes. He wrote: “Thank you everyone for all the wonderful messages. Truly feel blessed to have so many well-wishers. Thank you for respecting our privacy. Sending prayers for all.” Speaking about Shadab, he is currently nursing an injury that he sustained during the Big Bash League. Hence, he missed the home ODI series against the Kiwis. Regarding his update, Shadab Khan wrote: "Unfortunately I have a small fracture in my finger, nothing serious, will be back within 3 weeks. Thank you for your prayers. Will be supporting the team."
