The third ODI match of the West Indies tour of India is set to be held on the 11th of February. While India has already won the series, the final match will be important from the West Indies' point of view. Points for the World Super League are at stake, and they would want to get at least some of them. India has won the first two games and  claimed the series. Their bowling unit looks very strong at the moment. In the first game, they restricted Windies for 176 and did not allow them to chase the small target of 238 in the second match. They will have to make adjustments to their batting, as the last game was hardly an advertisement for their batting.

West Indies too have been good with the ball, all their bowlers got a wicket in the last game. Alzari Joseph, in particular, has been very good. He has got two wickets in each game and has been economical too. West Indies need to up their batting by a lot. Only Jason Holder has been a little effective with the bat as he scored a half-century in the first game.

In the next game, the two teams will have to work on their batting department so that the quality of the game is higher.

Pitch Report

The wicket of the first game was a black soil wicket, and it favored spinners. The next game was played on a different wicket, which was a red soil wicket, and was slightly better for the batters. The last game can be played on the same wicket as the first game, and the spinners can come into play for the game. The team winning the toss would like to chase down the target on this pitch.

Probable Playing XI's

Rohit Sharma confirmed that Shikhar Dhawan would return to the side in the 3rd match after suffering from Covid. Kieron Pollard, who was out with a niggle in the 2nd ODI, can return to the team as well.
