Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma

Virat Kohli's form in the recent past has been topsy-turvy, to say the least. While he did score two fifties during the three-match ODI series against South Africa, he was able to score just one fifty during the three-match Test series. He failed to make a mark in the ongoing three-match 50-over series against West Indies as well.

The third one-dayer saw the batting maestro getting dismissed for a duck. In just his second ball, he strangled one down the leg-side. Windies keeper Shai Hope made no mistake as he managed to hold on to the catch, and ensured that the 33-year-old had to depart without scoring. It is to be noted that this is the first time since 2015 that Kohli hasn't scored a half-century in a one-day series.

His scores in the three 50-over games are 8, 18 and 0. Thus, this led to several people criticizing the Delhi batter. A few people on social media dragged his wife into the discussion of his poor form as well.

Several users on Twitter blamed the Bollywood actresses for Kohli's current form, and felt that she was the reason behind his failures. An important point to be noted is the fact that this isn't the first time that she has been blamed for her husband's failures.

Right from the away tour to England in 2014 to the ODI World Cup in 2015, there have been numerous occasions where Anushka has unfortunately been dragged for Kohli's on-field performances. A few fans called her "Unlucky" for the Indian batter. Several Twitter users went on to make memes about the couple as well.

In the meanwhile, despite losing their top three rather cheaply, Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant put together a massive partnership, and rescued India. Both of them got to their respective half-centuries as well. However, the keeper-batter was dismissed after scoring 56.
