India gave its fans a reason to cheer as they thrashed Scotland by eight wickets with 81 balls to spare in their third match of the 20-20 World Cup. The Virat Kohli-led side also managed to beat Afghanistan by 66 runs to keep their semifinal hopes alive. Owing to the two dominating performances, India’s net run rate spiked to the best in Group B.
However, a run rate boost alone won't do the job for India. India's fate relies on New Zealand vs Afghanistan match. If Afghanistan manage to beat New Zealand, India's chances of qualifying will take a massive spike.

While Afghanistan will start the match as underdogs, New Zealand won't take them for granted. Given the conditions, Afghanistan seems a formidable side with a deadly spin attack.
