'India have a greater chance of winning than any other team' : Inzamam ul Haq

The hunt for the 20-20 World Cup is set to get underway in just two days when the Super 12s of the showpiece event begin. Ahead of the main draw, several experts have started making their predictions for the team combinations, probable winners and key matchups. The latest to join the bandwagon is former Pakistan skipper Inzamam ul Haq. Inzamam said that India have a greater chance of winning than any other team owing to their familiarity with the conditions. He also added that the team boasts of several experienced players who know how to come out on top in pressure situations.

“In any tournament, it cannot be said for certain that a particular team will win. It’s all about how much chance do they have of winning,” Inzamam said on his Youtube channel.

“In my opinion, India have a greater chance than any other team of winning the tournament, especially in conditions like these. They have experienced T20 players. On subcontinent pitches like these, India are the most dangerous T20 side in the world,” Inzamam added.

India have got their 20-20 World Cup campaign off to a rollicking start. They comprehensively defeated England and Australia in their two warm-up games and sent out a clear message to the other teams. They open their campaign against Pakistan on October 24 in Dubai.
